SPA & Wellness in Phoenix: swimming pool, artificial sea and SPA complexes for two

Bukovel in most people's minds consists of skiing, ski lifts and a queue for mulled wine. SPA on this list usually stands somewhere between "then" and "if there is time". And in vain, because in Phoenix Relax Park water stands out in a separate league: there is a panoramic pool, behind the glass of which fog slowly embraces spruce trees, and even an artificial sea in the middle of the Carpathians (yes, we also asked first). We figure out how the SPA pool in Bukovel is arranged, what kind of "sea" is this and what to make a day for two so that it does not boil down to "sit in the hamam and leave.".

What is included in SPA & Wellness Phoenix

The SPA complex is built around water and heat. SPA & Wellness Phoenix combines an indoor pool, an open-air jacuzzi, a hammam, a sauna, a salt room and a lounge area where you can lie down and not decide anything. A towel, bathrobe and slippers are provided on site, so you don't have to overload your suitcase. For hotel guests, the SPA area is open from 10:00 to 22:00, and a paid three-hour visit is available from 11:00 to 21:00: 1000 UAH for adults and 500 UAH for children 5-12 years old, children under 5 years old are free.

Individual rituals and massages are the next level, and we have them listed in the guide "«Phoenix SPA rituals: how to choose a procedure to suit your needs»". And here we will talk about water and relaxation together.

Panoramic pool: you swim, and behind the glass there is fog and spruce trees

The main character of the complex is panoramic pool under the roof. The water in it is constantly heated: the temperature is kept at 28°C, the depth is 160 cm, so this is a format for leisurely swimming, not for timed swims. There is a lounge area with 30 sun loungers around, and thanks to the panoramic glazing, the Carpathian landscapes are visible right from the water: the fog enveloping the spruces, or the clear line of the mountains, if the weather is in a good mood.

The best time for the pool is in the evening after an active day: your legs are still aching after hiking or tubing, and the warm water does all the work for you. The rules are simple and family-friendly: children under 18 years old are not allowed in the SPA without their parents, and children under 12 years old are only allowed in the pool area until 6:00 PM, so book a visit with your little one no later than 3:00 PM. The only difficulty in this pool is getting out of it.

Artificial sea in the Carpathians: this is not a joke or Photoshop

The word "Bukovel" and the word "sea" do not have a single syllable in common, but in the territory of Phoenix there is "«Phoenix Sea» – a summer water area with salt water. The website describes it as the only point in Bukovel with crystal clear salt water, and nearby there is a beach area, a summer bar with cool drinks and light snacks, and a stand-up paddleboard rental. The combination is unexpected: salt water, stand-up paddleboard, and mountains on the horizon instead of palm trees.

Let's get straight to the point: this is a seasonal story. Phoenix reports that the summer season is over, and outdoor pools will be operational again in 2027. So if you are looking for an artificial sea in Bukovel right now, you will have to wait, but you can already plan your summer vacation. In autumn and winter, the water is provided by a SPA complex with an open-air swimming pool and jacuzzi.

For planning, it is useful to know the conditions from the sea page. A full-day pass is listed there for 1200 UAH, and there is a special offer for Phoenix guests: 1000 UAH for the whole day or 500 UAH for 3 hours, children under 5 years old are free. The rules are standard, but it is better to read them in advance. A swimsuit and change of shoes are required, a shower is required after leaving the water, the lifeguard's recommendations should be followed, and food and drinks cannot be brought with you: they can be ordered at the SPA reception or at RestoBar Phoenix. Children under 18 years old are on the territory only under adult supervision, and the depth, according to the rules, can reach 190 cm, while the 150 cm zone is marked with buoys.

The sea is not the only outdoor option. The pool at the East Hills residence (6 by 20 meters, depth 164 cm) is included in the price of accommodation for guests of this residence, while the family pool in the main area (6 by 18 meters, three levels, depth up to 1.54 m) is intended for residents of Phoenix Relax Park. Entrance is by bracelets issued upon check-in.

SPA for two: what to make of a memorable day

The phrase «SPA for two» on the Phoenix website does not sound like a separate price, but rather an idea: spend a few hours together, put down your phones, and don’t plan anything. The easiest way is a ready-made complex «"Newlyweds"». It was created for couples: 4 hours, 6500 UAH, includes a SPA program, a wood-fired jacuzzi, stone therapy for two for 60 minutes and tea. The name hints at newlyweds, but the format is suitable for any couple: a fresh stamp in the passport is not needed for it. And the SPA gift certificate page recommends giving for a wedding, anniversary or Valentine's Day.

If the complex seems too big, you can organize the day yourself. Three scenarios for two:

  • ready-made option: the "Molodyata" complex, where everything has already been thought out for you
  • own scenario: a three-hour visit to the SPA zone (1000 UAH per adult) and a massage from the menu, for example "Touch of a melting candle" (60 min, 2300 UAH) or stone therapy (60 min, 2000 UAH)
  • gift: SPA certificate, where the recipient chooses the program and convenient time

The full menu of procedures is collected in the section SPA menu. It is better to check with the SPA administrator whether it is possible to sign up for several procedures at the same time by calling 096 400 42 40. Separately about the certificate: on all programs page It is said that it is appropriate for a birthday, anniversary or other important event, as it allows you to choose the program and time yourself. Please specify the cost and conditions when ordering.

How to plan a spa weekend in Phoenix

The biggest advantage of a SPA weekend in the mountains is that you can combine water with active recreation. On Sunday morning – quiet hunting with a guide, in the evening – swimming pool, hammam and lounge area. Offer valid until November 30, 2026 «"Early Bird"»: 10% discount on accommodation, no prepayment, free cancellation 7 days before arrival and 3 hours of SPA daily included in the price.

It is better to book the SPA in advance, by phone 096 400 42 40 or in the SPA complex's Telegram, and accommodation - on the page booking. The sea in the Carpathians is, of course, interesting, but an evening together in warm water with fog over the spruces is no less impressive. And there is much less sand in your slippers.
